HAPPY HOLIDAYS KOSIR KREW!
As November arrives here in The Northwoods, the big freeze-up
starts and the land begins to rest for the winter. The leaves
have fallen and the end of Autumn approaches. Winter and the
heavy snows of the Midwest are right around the corner. The good
news about our rivers are they have both run a bit above average
for this time of year, the Peshtigo sticking around Zero on the
Bridge Gauge, and the Menominee doing it's normal dam release
fluctuations. So we are in a good position to have another great
Spring! The best news? Forecasters think this winter may be a
real doosey, with lots of snow and multiple blizzards predicted.
Yay!! That kind of weather would surely set us up for a Roaring
return to Rafting in 2012.
The Holidays are just around the corner. So don't forget to
